What's your deal? Why USC can't seem to figure it out.

As fascinating as Greek Mythology is, and it really is fascinating, this isn’t AP European History. This is college football, and we’re not here to parse through what’s factional and what’s fictional when it comes to the Trojans of old. Ironically, the fact that the legend of Troy has outgrown history almost makes the Trojans the perfect moniker for the University of Southern California.

The Curious Case of Running Back Value

The Curious Case of Running Back Value

Solve for Y? Why? We spend about ten years of our lives learning to solve for y, and then never give y a second thought after we turn the tassel. Instead of solving for y, we need to be teaching our children, the future of our sovereign nation, how to solve for rb. Because that’s the variable no one has been able to solve for, especially NFL general managers.

Every Power 5 Quarterback Plus the Top 10 Group of 5 (& a Few Independents)

Every Power 5 Quarterback Plus the Top 10 Group of 5 (& a Few Independents)

On paper, there was a point last offseason when From was the third most talented quarterback on his own team. Fast forward and Jacob Eason is at Washington, Justin Fields is at Ohio State, and Fromm is heading into his third year as the starter with Heisman and National Championship aspirations. For Fromm to take his game to the next level I'm looking for him to push the ball down field more and open up the offense. He has the talent to do so, and that's what it will take for Georgia to finally get past Alabama.

Kelly Bryant: Possible Transfer Destinations

Kelly Bryant: Possible Transfer Destinations

One criticism of Bryant is that he’s not the most accurate quarterback. I think it’s more appropriate to say he’s not the most consistently accurate, especially if he’s being compared to Deshaun Watson, who Bryant replaced as the starter at Clemson. There are some throws that Bryant makes, however, that are jaw dropping (his touchdown throw against Texas A&M in 2018 he fit the ball into about a 6-inch window.) According to Pro Football Focus, Bryant was actually the most accurate deep passer in the ACC in 2017, and I think he’s even improved upon that in 2018.

Donovan Mitchell is More than an Athlete

Donovan Mitchell is More than an Athlete

Donovan Mitchell took a city and state full of fans depressed about Gordon Hayward leaving for Boston and made it a city and a state that was more excited to watch their NBA team than anyone else. He led a team that was 19-28 with no playoff hopes to a 23-4 record over 27 games. Donovan was the leading scorer of a playoff team in a competitive Western Conference. The last five rookies to ever lead a team in scoring and win 40 or more games in the regular season are Shaq, Carmelo Anthony, David Robinson, Larry Bird and Donovan Mitchell.
