Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah; Matt and Jake shared a room and a bunk bed until they graduated from high school. Every night after Mom told them to turn the lights off and get to bed, they’d stay up for hours talking about what it’d be like to create content together.

After they graduated from high school they took a hiatus from talking about sports together for a while when they both moved to Chile for two years. They lived in different parts of the country so they didn’t see each other until about a month before they moved back to the United States, when they both lived in the same city called Curicó.

When they came back to the States they both started classes at Brigham Young University almost right away. Staying on theme, they shared a room together for all four years of college.

Upon graduating from BYU Matt stayed in Utah and Jake moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. When Jake came home for Christmas their little brother had commandeered the bottom bunk and relegated Jake to the couch. The late night conversations continued, however, and the idea sparked to actually go for it.
